Translation

CERTIFIED TRANSLATIONS

The translator’s stamp and signature is put on the translation, certifying that the document is a true and honest translation of the original text.

SWORN TRANSLATIONS

This type of certification, certifying that document is an accurate and complete translated version of the original document, is performed by translators registered with the Board of Technical Experts for Translation of the Court of a certain city in Italy by means of a public deed at the Court Registry.

LEGALISED TRANSLATIONS

Certified translations are submitted to the Public Prosecutor’s Office so that an Apostille or legalisation stamp is affixed, thus attesting the document’s validity abroad.

CONSULATE CERTIFIED TRANSLATIONS

This additional legalisation is performed by Consulates or Embassies when documents are required for countries which do not adhere to The Hague Convention.

PROOFREADING

A second native speaking professional translator proofreads the texts that have been translated before the translation is sworn.

SAME DAY TRANSLATIONS

Certificates or short texts, delivered before 9 a.m., can be translated and delivered to clients during the course of the day.

URGENT TRANSLATIONS

Our translators are at your disposal for urgent requests even during the weekend.

Translation methodology

The following key points outline our translation methodology:

  • An accurate quote is drawn up, specifying the cost, delivery time and method of payment.
  • If the client requests so, specific terminology is defined which must be used by the translator.
  • After the document is translated, it is proofread by a second translator, who has the same skills as the first translator.
  • The text is sent to the client for final approval, before the translation is sworn in order to be sure that the document includes all the requested amendments and/or integrations.
